The short answer
Try the original in a separate tab to distinguish an embed problem from a game or connection problem. For sound, start audio with a tap and check output. For missing scores, return to the same device, browser and storage context before clearing anything.

The page opens but the game is blank
- If an attempt is active, wait before refreshing: leaving or reloading can restart it.
- Open perceptle.com directly. If it works there, continue there; the browser may be restricting embedded content or storage.
- If the direct original also fails, check your connection on another ordinary page, then reload the game once.
- Inspect a content blocker only for the affected site if you choose; you do not need to disable protection globally.
- Try another browser for comparison, remembering that its saved scores will be separate.
Loading the iframe does not prove the original server comparison works. If the result says “no server connection · playing solo,” that is a comparison issue distinct from drawing and playing the round.
Tempo has no sound
- Check media volume, silent mode and whether the browser tab is muted.
- Check which headphones or speaker receives the sound.
- Tap the game’s start control; browsers can require a user action before allowing audible media.
- Keep the game visible through the four reference beats. The later silent continuation is intentional.
- If only the embed is silent, start a fresh round in the direct original tab.
The independent Tempo tool can test a separate fixed reference. It does not diagnose or repair the original game. Browser behavior is described in MDN’s autoplay guide.
The beats play, but the timing feels wrong
Try the device speaker or wired audio instead of Bluetooth. Keep the same input method for a comparison and avoid switching tabs during the round.
A constant delay and growing delay have different meanings. With a 600 ms period, eight taps each +100 ms late can remain steady; offsets growing by 50 ms each tap suggest a slower pulse. Friday taps belong between the loud beats. The original calibrates from warm-up taps, so fixed-reference tool scores may differ. Read the timing examples.
Dragging scrolls the page or a keyboard covers it
Begin Angle and Split gestures inside the game field; scroll from outside it. Release submits the original estimate, so avoid lifting midway through an adjustment. After Count, dismiss the numeric keyboard rather than reloading.
Use the homepage’s fullscreen control where supported, or open the original in a separate tab. Our angle and fraction tools offer explicit controls for inspection; they do not change the original game’s input behavior.
A finished result or progress has disappeared
Return to the same site address, device and browser where you finished. Private browsing, cleared site data and a different browser can change the available records. Browsers may also isolate embedded storage from a direct original tab.
Do not clear site data as the first repair step. That can remove the very record you want to recover. NET cannot read the original iframe’s local storage or restore deleted scores. An imported IO result is also separate from original-game history.
In the reviewed original, complete five-event sets are saved after completion; a partial round is not a promised checkpoint. Archive may show a stored completed result instead of reopening a fresh attempt. See what the original Archive rows mean. Browser storage is scoped by origin.
My puzzle number or Friday rules look different
The original captures your local date when its page starts. If a tab stayed open across midnight, check the device date and time zone, finish any live attempt, then reopen the game. People in different time zones can see different daily numbers at the same moment.
Use Archive to choose an older date rather than changing your device clock. #7, July 24, 2026 is a calendar Friday with Normal rules; #14, July 31 is the first Friday variant. A joker puzzle is a rule change, not a loading fault.
What to include in a useful problem report
Note the device, browser, whether you used the embed or direct original, the date/number, the event and exactly what happened after your last action. Include whether sound or touch works elsewhere. Avoid sending private result exports unless they are needed to reproduce the problem. Contact the guide maintainer for a NET page or tool issue.
